A friend of my brother bring a telecaster style body and neck from japan. And he want to assemble a telecaster . The body shown below .
As you want to obtain the better sound or custom make this telecaster, you have to try using the different pot and tone control cap .By solder the difference cap and resistor to build the grease bucket circuit it obtain the different sound !
The first time I will use cts pots and grease bucket ciruit with Philips resistor ,mylar cap and Siemens cap .
Later I will try square noble 250 kB pot with grease bucket circuit .
You better to use the original fender spare parts to build .As use others spare part , sometime they use different metal to build so the sound is quite different with the original fender.sometimes not like a fender telecaster.
As we reform a mini telecaster before . The guitar show below later I will also buid another one .

In the beginning, I use grease bucket tone and volume kit ! The sound is guite good but is not the best ,so l need to make the independent tone circuit for each pickup , later I will show you the photo !

我不是說所有偉大祖國生產的東西是要不得？！當中要小心選擇及認識才能揀出正貨！
如以上的一個前咪！你要知道它基本的物理數據才可以使用！
基本上首先要鑑定其所用之磁石磁力是否夠強！然後看其直流電阻值是否足夠！因為反映其所用之銅線圈數是否有偷工減料！第三是看所用之銅線規格！然後再試声才能判斷！物理角度為動，磁，流！要足夠電流輸出時！亦要好声！這並不容易在平價產品中找到好嘢！
因原個pickup 內之電器特性不同！故用不同之pot 制及電容，線材去配合！才能夾到靚声！

Another main point are the neck pickup and bridge pickup DC resistance do not lower than 6 K ohm
One of my brother 's friend in China custom made two groups pickups for the telecaster. The neck pickup is from 7.8 k ohm to 8.3 k ohm the bridge pickup from 8.7 k ohm to over 10 k ohm the photos show below. The higher DC resistance let the sound get more powerful than the lower one as some telecaster pickup in China made only from 5 to 6. K ohm DC resistance so we wound it more turns than others, it is suitable for a good telecaster sound
